Hi All,

I write this complaint to the famous Foodpanda which promises an express guarantee or a money back for the order if not delivered in 45 mins, but what about our health is that not their concern???

My Case Goes As Below:

I ordered from foodpanda on the night of 01st April 2016, from a restaurant listed there by the name of Chinese Coner, for which I paid INR 500/- through my Paytm wallet, my order number provided to me was n5qd-h2hk/1.

After waiting for 50 mins for my order I got impatient and called on their customer service number 0124-6149200 where I was told that the 45 min thing does not apply to my order for some god knows reason, however I asked him what would be the delevery time then for my order, and they replied that its 60 mins from the time I placed my order, so I asked what do you have in your system for my order time & delivery time and they said that the order time is 10:04 P.M. & the delivery time is 11:04 P.M. & they requested me to kindly wait for the same...

After considering their request politely I was waiting for my order till 11:10 P.M. when I called back on the same number and they said that they will connect me to the restaurant directly & I can inquire with them to provide an update for my order, so I spoke to someone in the Chinese Coner, who rudely said that my order has already been dispatched approximately 15-20 mins back, & that I should be receiving the same soon.

Again after a considerable wait time, I got pissed off and called foodpanda at 11:40 P.M. to cancel my order, but they had already closed and I was getting a Voice Message saying that we are closed kindly contact in working hours only i.e. 11:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M. IST...

I got the number of the rider from the Chinese Conner as they also had no Idea of where my order was and said that they cannot take cancellation of the food already ordered...

After calling the rider again and again he finally answered my call and maybe he was talking with one of his friends and did not realise that the phone was answered, I heard him saying that there is one order that he does not feel like delivering and is already paid so if needed they and consume it as the customer won’t know (this conversation was in Hindi a regional language)...

After calling the rider again he answered at 12:01 A.M. and said that he is almost there & that he got late as could not find my house, so I asked him if he was searching for my house from last 1 hour and that too if he did not find it important to call me & he said that no I am right outside on the main road, so I checked from my house and he hung up before I could sate anything...

After calling him continuously he again answered my call at 12:30 A.M. and ask what is my room number & so I saw him from my house and got my order at 12:35 A.M...

The rider left with no response to any of my question for the delay in the order...

After opening my order I found out that my order was correct but it had a foul stench and smell & everything was spoilt, i wondered if INR 500/- order would have been from a local Chinese stall as what I received was in a tin foil with food in degraded plastic and all the food was spoilt...

Considering that I had to wait till 12:35 A.M. for a food order placed at 10:04 P.M. of an amount of INR 500/- & then too receiving spoilt food means that now the ecommerce companies are not at all bothered of their customer service nor health...

It is a disgrace on the part of foodpanda be so renounced by has no conviction towards their customers...

I will not recommend foodpanda to any of my family members or friends after this experience for sure...

nekshta.2812 wrote the review because of problem with delivery at Foodpanda and attached photo s. Reviewer claimed that he or she lost $400 and wants Foodpanda to offer any options to resolve the issue.

The most disappointing in user's experience was bakwaas, delivery, pathetic and costomer service. The author asks this business to immediately contact him/ her to briefly discuss his/ her negative experience with the company.
